Big feelings deserve a gentle friend.
Raha Kids turns deep breathing into play. Children blow out candles, chase bubbles, and race a car, building real calming skills one playful breath at a time, designed especially for sensory-sensitive and autistic kids.
A safe-space to express feelings.
In Qatar, roughly one in 87 children is autistic. Across the wider MENA region, an estimated 500,000 children are on the spectrum, most without emotional tools built in their language or their world.
So we created Raha, Arabic for comfort, ease, and relief: a fluffy, patient character who helps children notice a feeling, name it, and gently work through it with playful breathing games, one breath at a time.
It's not a screen that numbs. It's a small, safe space that helps children (and the grown-ups who love them) understand what's going on inside.
children across MENA are estimated to be on the autism spectrum.

Five buddies. Five ways to feel okay.
Tap a friend. Each one carries a small piece of what helps kids feel steady again.
Every breath becomes a tiny adventure.
Six ways, and counting, to turn a deep breath into a game. Each one teaches a different breathing pattern, disguised as play.
Designed to feel like a warm room, not an app.
Soft gradients, rounded shapes, and no sudden sounds or flashing: every screen in Raha Kids follows sensory-friendly design principles from the very first tap.
- No jarring animations or loud effects
- Predictable, low-pressure navigation
- Every path ends in encouragement
Built by people who understand the everyday.
Raha Kids grew out of real MENA households navigating autism, and a belief that emotional tools should feel like home.
Speaks your child's world
Characters, expressions and stories are shaped around MENA family life, not adapted from somewhere else.
No pressure, no scoreboard shame
There's no failing in Raha Kids, only different ways of trying, and every one of them is celebrated.
A window in, not a watchtower
Simple, respectful insights help caregivers notice patterns and offer support at the right moments.
Small breaths, real change.
Raha Kids is built around a simple idea: kids build calmer, steadier minds one breath at a time, and that has to add up to something bigger than a single game session.
Calmer within the first few days
Because every game teaches one clear breathing skill at a time, families often notice steadier reactions to big feelings within the first few days of regular play: small, repeatable wins that build real confidence fast.
Fewer big moments, over time
With consistent use, many children lean on outside help to regulate their emotions less often as they build their own toolkit for big feelings, supporting the UN's Sustainable Development Goal 3: to ensure healthy lives and promote well-being for all people, at all ages, by 2030.
Rooted in Arab culture
Raha Kids is built bilingually from day one, with characters, stories and dialects shaped by real Gulf family life rather than translated from somewhere else, in step with Qatar National Vision 2030's commitment to preserving national heritage and cultural identity.
Standing with Qatar Foundation's vision
Qatar Foundation's 10-year Autism Strategy is working toward a more inclusive ecosystem for people with autism by 2035, including a 25% reduction in the average age of diagnosis and a 50% improvement in family quality of life. Raha Kids is built to be a small, everyday part of that same movement.
